Trinity College London is an independent awarding body and examinations board and has been providing assessments and qualifications around the world since 1877. With a rich heritage of academic rigour and a positive, supportive approach to assessment, Trinity provides recognised and respected qualifications in a unique spectrum of communicative skills — from music, drama and arts activities to English language — at all levels. Each year over 600,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a Trinity assessment and our international network is growing fast.
At the heart of Trinity’s work is the support provided for teachers, both in terms of specific support for teachers preparing candidates for our exams, and more general teacher development. Trinity’s work with teachers is supported by a growing international network of relationships with key education institutions. This ensures that Trinity teachers have access to the best professional development available.
English for Asia is proud to be the National Representative for Trinity College London's ESOL and Drama assessments and teacher support programmes in Hong Kong, Macao and Mainland China. We work closely with local partners and Trinity's UK office to organise over 20,000 Trinity assessments each year. Our TESOL trainers are all members of Trinity's regional Professional Support Team, receiving regular training from Trinity's senior academics and providing teacher support to hundreds of local schools and organisations.
