Upon receipt of your application, you will be invited for an interview with our course director. They will ask you about your teaching experience and language awareness to help decide whether this course is suitable for you. The interview is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the course and decide if it is right for you. Interviews will be conducted by telephone or Skype for applicants who are not currently residing in Hong Kong or China.

You will be notified by letter as to whether or not your application is successful. Once you have been accepted on the course, a non-refundable deposit of HK$10,000 is required to confirm your place.
As the course is high demand, applicants are reminded that all course fees are non-refundable unless a course is cancelled.

Prospective candidates for the DipTESOL must be current teachers of ESOL with at least two years’ full-time teaching experience. A first degree or equivalent is required and it is recommended that candidates have an initial TESOL qualification such as the Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge CELTA or equivalent.
If English is your second or foreign language, you will need to demonstrate the appropriate competence in your spoken and written English, for example by holding a minimum Grade 11 in the Trinity Graded Examinations in Spoken English or other recognised CEFR C1 certificate.
In general you should have a high level of competence and interest in both language and language teaching that will enable you to follow this demanding course of advanced study.
