You will find our TEFL courses more in-depth and challenging than some of the fast-track certificates available elsewhere, but you will experience first class training to help you become an effective English teacher who can have a positive impact on your students.

Learning input varies to include engaging with texts, analysing graphics and observing aspects of teaching practice. This is supplemented with a series of tasks, including reflection activities and contributions to a discussion forum.
The quizzes enable you to review what you have learned and highlight areas of focus that you need to work on. In addition, you can refer to the glossary tab to review key terms related to TEFL. A pass in the final quiz is required if you wish to be awarded a certificate of completion.

The Motivation unit reflects on previous learning and looks at extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. It also covers Harmer's angel analogy and looks at how to keep learners motivated and the practical application of these ideas.
The Teaching online module covers the benefits and challenges of teaching online with practical ways to overcome challenges. You will learn how to use and share online tools, keep young learners engaged and see examples of online teaching in action.
At the end of the course, you will need to take the final test. You will need to achieve a score of 50% or higher to complete the course and receive your digital credential. You can retake the final test up to two times (three attempts in total), and you can revisit any sections of the course to study up on questions that you find difficult.

Yes. If English is your second or foreign language, you can still complete the course. We recommend an English proficiency level of CEFR C1 for most courses, but our 120-hour TEFL course is suitable for anyone with an English proficiency of CEFR B1 or above.
