Phonics is learning about the sounds letters make individually and in clusters. In this workshop, we look at ways to demystify letter-sound relationships for young learners as well as how to set up a logical sequence for teaching phonics, plus strategies and resources required to make the process fun and engaging. Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.

Learning through play is a highly engaging, natural way to get children to learn and achieve their goals. We will look at different types of play-based learning, how it works inside and outside the classroom, and explore strategies to include more play into your lessons. We will also investigate the experience of learning through play from a child’s perspective. Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of teaching hours.

Creating attractive and engaging materials is a very important aspect in the success of any lesson. In this workshop we will explore different aspects of materials design and learn practical ways of creating high quality materials to bring improved results in your classroom. This workshop is for anyone who wants to know more about what to expect in the CertTESOL course or who would like to brush up on lesson materials design.
