Getting certified here at EfA was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. My heartfelt gratitude to all my tutors; Kevin, Sean, Amanda, Alex, Jennie, Viktor, Karin, Sherif and Eduardo! Looking back I feel like I've learned some very important and distinct lessons from each of my tutuors. I will carry them throughout my career. It's rare enough to see such a balanced team of professionals who compelment each other so well, but to see them so eager and tireless to push us in the right direction, that was something else... If you are looking to start teaching English or to upgrade your teaching skills, you'd be wasting your time looking anywhere else. I'd suggest you get into this with the attitude of a genuine student. Be open to feedbacks, work on your errors, and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Take the deadlines seriously. Plan well. Your professionalism is expected. There is a certain standard you will have to meet at every stage. So it is a demanding course. But what good has ever come out of anything that's too flexible and easy? If you do it right, you will forever be grateful that you did this. It's one of those experiences which you'll reflect upon and stumble upon newer insights, long after it has passed. Many thanks to Christina who was always there to lend a hand. A massive thank you to everyone at English For Asia. I recently completed the CertTESOL course with them and could could genuinely not have asked for a better experience. All of the trainers were super friendly and supportive, Kevin the course director was super helpful and accommodating. Also a big shoutout to Christina for been super helpful with any needs we had while we were in the centre, and also responding super quick to any emails and queries. If you are thinking of doing a TESOL course I would defiantly recommend English For Asia if you want to feel confident and ready to teach after you finish.

It’s my absolute pleasure to post a review for English for Asia. I’ve just obtained my CertTESOL and would like to express my gratitude and would highly recommend it to teachers looking for development. The support I had received from the Center was helpful and I had utilized the resources in the study center several times to help design my lesson plans. The managers at the center personally showed me how to setup the classroom and equipment and went the extra mile to ensure that our journey was well supported from start till end, including hosting a thoughtful graduation party to mark this milestone for us. The course directors and tutors are knowledgeable, helpful and approachable, contributing significantly to our development as teachers and my peers made the experience so much more memorable. I worked on my CertTESOL through English for Asia in February and I could not have asked for a better experience. I signed up for the full time program and while it was definitely a lot of work, the EfA team was there to help you any time you needed it. The teaching practice sessions, feedback sessions, and tutoring sessions were invaluable in helping me build and deliver engaging lessons. The team (Kevin, Sean, Jennie, Eduardo, and many more) will push you and challenge you and will NOT hand everything to you on a silver plate, but they will help you in becoming a better teacher through their guidance and direction. I came into the program as an experienced teacher and still learned a lot in regards to how to prepare one hour lessons on any given skill (oral, writing, etc.). Rather than just being a 'check the box' qualification, I left the CertTESOL program with ideas on how to make my own teaching much better. If you take the CertTESOL with EfA you will be in very good hands. Not only will you have a great group of people instructing you during online sessions, but you'll also be able to meet the great office staff at the Sheung Wan center. Christina in particular is INCREDIBLY helpful and will go out of her way to ensure you succeed in the program!
